Reviews before the PC launch praised the game for being a port without any major issues and offering full control remapping for keyboard, mouse and controllers, however, some reviews were critical of the game assets not being designed for high resolution displays, its 60 FPS limit, and excessive loading times on solid-state drives. The worldwide release was officially announced in December 2020, following a delay in localization due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Persona 5 Strikers released worldwide on Steam on February 23, 2021, one year following the game's original release in Japan, with the Digital Deluxe Edition, containing additional downloadable content, releasing five days earlier.
